If you could permanently ban a word from general usage, which one would it be? Why?
If there was a word that I would ban (but only for a certain group, which generally use it so it works) I would ban white people from saying “Woke” so damn much!
Most white people abuse the word. They use it to complain, to blame, as a buzzword for things they hate. They’ve bastardized and flanderized the word!
For some, “woke” is when a gay person is in a video game and they don’t like it. For others, it’s another way to say the “N” word without being punched out for it. It means neither of those things, but the majority wouldn’t know it, which is how bad white folk have abused the word.
And you know the worst part? I can recognize this even though I’M WHITE!! I am excluding myself from using the word and I am okay with it. I’ve seen too many of my people whine about woke. I will not join the cacophony of sneering ignorant jerks.
Only people who know what “woke” means should be able to say it. I said what I meant.

I understand your point. I also think that the word woke is not necessary regardless of race.
