Fat stacks

Life starts with a promise :

“Things will be good for you, if you behave”

So we do the right things,

Act the way society wants us to,

All for the hope of reward.

Then we get older,

We grow up.

And those rewards?

Turn out to be punishments!

We are cast out from our homes,

Our places of comfort,

Forced to work out salad years away

For a pittance.

Our wages are a mockery in society’s eyes!

Meanwhile,

The worst of us-

Money hoarders, human traffickers and scumbags-

THEY GET THE REWARDS!!!

They get the fat stacks of society

The very ones that were promised us!

The world is cruel,

Society is unfair

BUT IT WASN’T MEANT TO BE THIS WAY.
