What’s your go-to comfort food?

Who knew putting meat, cheese and tomato sauce on a flat wheel of bread would be a banger of an idea?

When you have a bad day. When you’re hungry but don’t wanna cook. When you’re stressed and full of anxiety for no reason, or because the neighbors dog was being an asshole to you for no reason other than you exist near it. Pizza is there for you(me).

Pizza understands days can be bad. Pizza comes to your door fully cooked. Pizza can comfort you when you are anxious and stressed, and doesn’t judge you unlike the neighbors dog.

Some of my favorite memories are when I was having pizza. After a long night at work, a late night pizza and a guilty pleasure movie make a great pairing. It doesn’t hurt that I live in a part of the country where pizza places are around every corner. Just gotta know the good ones!

    1. I can understand not wanting to make pizza. I have never tried making a custom crust out of flour, but I have made a pizza out of pre-made crust and some toppings. It came out okay.

      My biggest problem with pizza is it makes me fat, but what food in America doesn’t these days?

      1. The fact that you can make it at home from pre-made ingredients is awesome, and better than takeout or ordering in.

        As for healthy meals, fruits and veggies are decent meals. Probably why the vegan diet is proverbial, but I can’t classify them as comfort food. Maybe apples?

        But ya, pizza’s fattening. That’s why it should be eaten sparingly, and shared between friends or family.
