What’s the point anymore?

Do you vote in political elections?

I used to vote in elections with pride.

“Look at me!” I’d think. “I’m doing civics!! I’m helping my country!”

Now though? What’s the friggin’ point.

Let me explain…

It’s become obvious that both parties don’t work for us. Republicans work for the worst society on Earth, while democrats… also work for the worst society on Earth but they hide behind identity politics and messaging they don’t deliver on.

They’re both corrupt, they’re both bought and paid for by oligarchs, neither one wants to help anyone but themselves and their donors.

And if we wanna go even more nihilistic, democrats always decide after they throw what should have been an easy win that they’re just gonna be more like republicans. Who the fuck asked them to be more like republicans?!!? It feels like they just hate their voters and their base and want nothing to do with being “the left”.

And if by some miracle of god a third party were to make gains? The two evil parties would just have their wins erased, then imprison/kill/both their leaders. What’s the point of voting for anyone when our nation is so clearly bought and paid for?

So what’s the answer? Well, the obvious answer is to do away with this rotten government. The best way to do it is to stop voting for either shit party. Voting is giving them your okay to keep drifting rightward. Remember when genocide was a red line? That ended in 2024 when people decided democrats were worth genociding over.

There is no good in a society that decides genocide is the “lesser evil”. End of story
